So, I like to take photos of parks that I go to and I do a lot of landscape photography in general. I submitted this one picture to a Photographer's Forum contest, and they liked it so much they published it twice! Thought you might like to take a look.


I took this picture while in Washington a couple of years back. We were hiking on Mount Baker, saw this tree all by its lonesome and I had to take a picture of it. Now, I am a complete sucker when it comes to bare trees; I think the shapes are so much more striking when exposed and I love when they are silhouetted against the sky. All I had at the time was a dinky old Canon, but this picture and others from the hike seemed to come out pretty well.

It was a fun trip going up Mount Baker, and if you are ever in that region, I highly suggest going up to Artist's Point.
